Happy almost 2015 everyone! This year has been an amazing year and since you have been along for the ride I wanted to take the time to share with you a review of 2014. I have made a video of all the highlights of the year and I hope you enjoy watching it. This year I have traveled to some amazing places, started a blog and enjoyed every second along the way. While I am excited for 2015 I am also a bit sad 2014 is over. I hope you continue to enjoy reading my blog in 2015 as much as I enjoy creating content. While I know 2015 will bring some changes I still plan on blogging (and don't worry I will continue to share the highlights of my boring life). So now I leave you with my video that took FOREVER to create and most important lets make this year the best yet!!! Cheers to 2015 ;)

Happy New Years Eve
Happy New Years Eve everyone!!!! Today's outfit is really casual but also super fun for new years. Over the years I have done lots of different things for new years however this year I am hanging out and doing pretty much nothing. My family will watch the ball drop on TV and have snacks. Personally I really don't get the big deal about the new year. I mean sure it's a whole new year but to me it's just another average day. I am a strong believer in making everyday count. So I hate how people think they have to wait for the new year to do change something or do something exciting, as Nike would say JUST DO IT! I do like writing new years resolutions and taking a "life check" however I think we should not just do that at new years it should be all the time.
With that being said I am really excited for 2015. I know lots will change as I will be graduating high school (#crazy), moving out and starting the next chapter of my life. While I am excited to see what this year will hold I would be lying if I said I was not nervous and also a bit sad. Though I am ready to make 2015 even better then 2014 and the best is yet to come ;)
I hope you enjoy today's fun outfit as much as I do. I was going to post outfits the last two days but by the time I got home from work it was so dark here that there was no way pictures were going to be taken. So I braved the cold for y'all today and I hope you enjoy!!! I will see you guys back here closer to midnight for a SUPER fun post/video that I worked really hard on.

New Glasses & OOTD
As I mentioned in my last post I got new glasses over the weekend however it was not an easy task. I went to two Lenscrafters before I found the perfect pair. I really don't like picking out glasses because I am always afraid that I am going to get a pair an end up not liking them. However as soon as I put these on I knew these where the ones. They were a little expenses but they are a super cute investment that I wear everyday. When I was younger I would often times think about getting contacts. Though now I think of my glasses as my "signature" similar to how Jenna Lyons always wears her black framed glasses. I really like the tortoise glasses with a fun side to them. What do you think of my new specs?!
Warning: You will probably be seeing LOTS of looks with these duck boots ;)
Shirt: Lauren James / Jeans: Loft / Vest: Hollister (similar) / Boots: Sperry / Headband: Etsy / Earrings: Miadora / Glasses: Prada (same)
Stay Chic

Uber Clutch OOTD
I feel like it has been FOREVER since I last did an outfit post but there back!!! These last few days I have been so busy that I have not had a ton on time to do lots of blogging. Friday I got new glasses (pictures to come), returned some holiday items and went to dinner at a family friends. Then Saturday I was busy doing random things and today I went shopping at the outlet mall (I can't wait to show you what I got)!!!! Anyway now that you are caught up with my boring life lets get into today's outfit. I wore this last week to school and then added this new clutch I got when I shot the pictures. I love everything about this look. Also I used Adobe Lightroom to edit today's pictures (thanks to Kelly in the City's suggestion). It's a free trial I am trying out before I go ahead and buy the program so please let me know what you think of the pictures. I literally just downloaded it so I know nothing about how it use it.

Holiday Party 2014: Recipes, Ugly Sweater & More...
Last Sunday my family had our annual holiday party. If you remember me talking about it last week well it's the same one. This years theme we picked was an Ugly Christmas sweater party. I love throwing parties for any occasion especially when they have a theme too. I pretty much planned all the actives and baked the goodies. So I thought I would share with you all the pictures I took before the party. I know the holidays are already over but you can maybe get ideas for other parties plus I am also going to include all the recipes I used so you can make the goodies yourself. Let me know if you have any questions about planning a party as I would be happy to help answer them.
Fun Fact: As some of you my know this is my last year of high school and I am going to major in event management (yes I really do love to plan a good party). Anyways lets leave college talk for another post ;)
Invite: I used this template and copied the image into a word document. Then I put a text box over the bottom part of the invite and put our own party info in the text box. I then took a screen shot of the image, saved in as a picture and e-mailed it to everyone. This seems like a lot of work but its really not we just did not have time to sent invites in the mail.
My Ugly Sweater: I can not believe I am posting this on a fashion blog but I promised you guys I would show it to you.

Plates & red drink napkins: Target |
Red Velvet Cupcakes: Used mix from the country store we went to |
Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies |
Egg Nog Cookies |
Gingerbread Cookies / Gingerbread Icing - I did not use the cookie recipe from them because there was shortening in this recipe. |
Fudge- Use your mixer though because I got lazy and it looked funny because everything was not all mixed. |
Heath Toffee |
Party Set-Up (bar): I put all the alcohol on its own counter next to the fridge. I also put the beer on the floor in a big beverage container with ice.
Party Set-Up (Entertainment): I set up a voting station at our desk in the living room so people could vote for the ugliest sweater.
