Last Sunday my family had our annual holiday party. If you remember me talking about it last week well it's the same one. This years theme we picked was an Ugly Christmas sweater party. I love throwing parties for any occasion especially when they have a theme too. I pretty much planned all the actives and baked the goodies. So I thought I would share with you all the pictures I took before the party. I know the holidays are already over but you can maybe get ideas for other parties plus I am also going to include all the recipes I used so you can make the goodies yourself. Let me know if you have any questions about planning a party as I would be happy to help answer them.
Fun Fact: As some of you my know this is my last year of high school and I am going to major in event management (yes I really do love to plan a good party). Anyways lets leave college talk for another post ;)
Invite: I used this template and copied the image into a word document. Then I put a text box over the bottom part of the invite and put our own party info in the text box. I then took a screen shot of the image, saved in as a picture and e-mailed it to everyone. This seems like a lot of work but its really not we just did not have time to sent invites in the mail.
My Ugly Sweater: I can not believe I am posting this on a fashion blog but I promised you guys I would show it to you.

Red Velvet Cupcakes: Used mix from the country store we went to |
Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies |
Egg Nog Cookies |
Gingerbread Cookies / Gingerbread Icing - I did not use the cookie recipe from them because there was shortening in this recipe. |
Fudge- Use your mixer though because I got lazy and it looked funny because everything was not all mixed. |
Heath Toffee |
Party Set-Up (bar): I put all the alcohol on its own counter next to the fridge. I also put the beer on the floor in a big beverage container with ice.
Party Set-Up (Entertainment): I set up a voting station at our desk in the living room so people could vote for the ugliest sweater.
