Valentine's Day Gift Guide

With Valentines Day in only a few weeks I wanted to share a gift guide with ideas for what to get friends, sisters, or if the significant other in your life needs some ideas. This is one of my favorite gift guides to make mainly because I love all things pink and red! The colors are so happy and cheerful. I think I have said this before in years past but I really love Valentine's Day. I think it is a great time to treat yourself and take time for you! Weekly Wellness: Autoimmune Health Update

Today I am sharing a health update video as it has been a few months since I last posted an update! I am planning on sharing a few more related topics in the next week weeks with relation to my health including a video about my medications I am on. Plaid Scarf & Patagonia Vest

This is a pretty basic look but it is definitely what I wear pretty much the whole winter. Scarfs and a vest are a staple for me! I wore this to work the other week and gots lots of complements on this look.  I have had this Patagonia vest for a few years now and I love how warm it is. As for the scarf you can never go wrong with plaid.

Earlier this month I did a blog post sharing some recent items I had found while searching the Internet. Current TV Show Obsessions & Life Updates

Little Life Update... 

Hey guys I have been spending the last week getting lots of things checked off my to-do list in preparation for a new semester that started today! I had my last first day of school today which is crazy to think about. I am feeling excited for the semester as I don't think it will be too hard. I am also excited to get back into a routine and be able to create a blogging schedule around my classes. This past weekend was a total snow storm so I stayed inside most of the weekend any was lazy. I did get together with some friends which is always fun! I have been starting the job search process which has been harder than I thought it would be. Definitely time consuming so I am glad I am starting now! Finally I tried out a spin class last week and just took my second class tonight and I am loving it. I have done cycling before but not at a studio that only offers spin. I am loving the energy of the class and it makes me feel so good after. The most important thing is it doesn't hurt my back 🙌🏻

Weekend Getaway: Niagara On The Lake

This past weekend we spent the night in Niagara On The Lake as a celebration for my sister's birthday that was last week! We had an amazing time and I wanted to recap the weekend. Being so close to Canada it was the perfect weekend mini trip. It was really cold but we still had lots of fun and ate way too much. I think going back in the fall or spring would be fun! It was my first time in Niagara On The Lake but I would for sure go back again. 

Perfect Winter Accessory: Look M Shawl

It has been so long since I posted an outfit post but I am so excited about this outfit I am sharing. I bought this Look M shawl wrap after Christmas and I am obsessed with it. It comes in a bunch of different colors and it makes any simple outfit look so cute. I think this red color adds such a great pop of color! I also bought my first pair of hoop earnings recently. I found these at J Crew and they are so light I forget that I am wearing them.

Cruise Packing Essentials

Royal Caribbean Cruise Photos & Beginner Cruise Guide

Before Christmas I went on my first cruise with family and we all had such a fun time! I had wanted to try a cruise so when we found one right before Christmas and it just happened to work out with all our schedules we decided to go for it. My grandparents are close enough to Port Canaveral that we could drive to it so it worked out great. I didn't know totally what to expect but it was tons of fun. I am going to share a little bit about the cruise and share some pictures. However I filmed a video that goes into great detail about cruising 101 tips! So be sure to check that out below if you want to know more about the super specific details of the cruise. I think the video is really helpful if you have never been on a cruise before and have lots of questions like I did! I go over everything from check-in, food & beverage, excursions, dress code and more.

December Book Reviews

As I mentioned in yesterdays new years goals post I want to start reading more "fun" books each month. I have not read outside of school books in forever like probably a few years. When I was on vacation this past month I read two really good books and it made me want to keep reading more this year. To keep myself accountable I thought I would share a review of the books I read at the end of each month. I also would love your recommendations for books to read!

PSA for all my fellow Lilly lovers they announced today the winter after party sale is happening Monday January 7th - Tuesday January 8th. It is starting at 8:00 a.m. and going until midnight on Tuesday. This is the smaller after party sale compared to the one at the end of the summer. The sale is shorter but their are usually some amazing deals! Can't wait to shop the sale soon.  

2018 Reflection and 2019 Goals

As the new year begins I always reflect back on the past year and also set goals for myself in the new year. There are so many mixed feelings about new years resolutions but there is something refreshing I find about refocusing on goals after the busyness of the holidays. Yes, you can set goals any time of year but there is something so hopeful about the new year that I love.

2018 Highlights

Happy 2019 everyone! I had a very chill night ringing in the new year as I am still trying to get over a cold as is the rest of my family. We went out to dinner and then watched movies at home. I had the last few weeks off of work and I am on break from school so I have had nothing to really do. It has been SO nice to stay in my PJS half the day and not feel bad about it. I guess having a cold this past week was the best time for it to happen. I am excited for the new year and everything it will bring! 
I am going to do another post reflecting on 2018 and setting some goals for 2019 but today I wanted to kick off the year sharing with you some of my favorite moments from the past year through some pictures. I think it is a fun way to look back on the year and remember all the things I was able to do! I traveled a ton and had some pretty amazing experiences. I would love to know what your favorite memories of 2018 were!
